Has anybody had an issue in which they thought they were registered as a nonpartisan or independent voter, but then found out they were actually part of the American Independent party? It seems to be a problem for voters here in Los Angeles County, and I'm very curious how pervasive it is (not to mention how many American Independents are actually intentionally part of that party.)

As sure as I am of anything else in this race, which isn't very. But Obama support seems strong, at least here in LA.

Yes...the democratic caucus starts at 6, but they said to be there at 4:30 if you wanted to change your party affiliation. I was wondering what would prevent someone from going to the caucus, registering as a democrat and caucusing, and then going over to the republican primary and registering as a republican and voting in the primary there? This would actually be a good way to cast votes for the weakest candidate of the opposite party....yanno?

They're not checking IDs? They checked mine in 2000 when I voted there...

Off topic, but wow, I don't ever read my myspace messages! I just read the message you sent me back in october. I believe I sent you a message because you were on the Rick Emerson show, in Portland, OR. ;)

Hey, awesome!! I got so many emails for that! I guess I made an impression. I have no idea what I said on the air, either, hahahaha. I was totally insane from lack of sleep.
