I think that it should be possible to change environmental policy and foreign policy right away. Unfortunately, we have lost a lot of ground on both.

I am not sure what the answers are going to be on the economy. He cannot do much worse, but it is going to drag him down on health care and some other objectives.

Why is it that when a person has any percentage of non-white lineage in them they define themselves as that non-white race? 1/8 black, 7/8 white, the person is black. Strange.

1/2 white, 1/2 black, and the first thing that comes to my mind about the president-elect is "liberal". The media sucks.

Nah, Obama doesn't. He discusses that at length in his first book, actually. Most everybody else does though, and it really bothers me - it's that old one-drop rule. If you have a drop of black blood, etc.

I also think he will definitely show himself not to be liberal at all, at least not as it's been defined in the past shitty 8 years. I think "centrist" will be more how he's defined, which is exactly what's needed right now.
